En 2017 paraissait la deuxième édition du Droit commercial du Professeur Emile Tyan. Le Code de commerce libanais n’avait pas subi de grands amendements depuis sa promulgation dans les années 1940, mais la doctrine et la jurisprudence avaient rendu nécessaire une mise à jour du cours publié originellement en 1968. Deux ans après cette nouvelle édition, le 29 mars 2019, était promulguée la Loi n°126, modifiant le Code de commerce libanais et l’article 844 du Code des obligations et des contrats. Il est donc devenu indispensable de publier un supplément au cours, commentant les amendements et ajouts apportés par la nouvelle loi, et évaluant les avancées qu’elle a permises, ainsi que ses faiblesses. Vous trouverez aussi dans ce supplément un marque-page à insérer dans le volume du cours, portant la liste de tous les articles modifiés par la nouvelle loi. Cette liste vous permettra, lorsque vous consulterez une partie du cours, de savoir d’un simple coup d’oeil si elle est affectée par les modifications et s’il vous faut donc vous reférer aussi au supplément.
