Through a narrative imbued with resilience and insight, the book traces his journey from hardship to success in Nigeria, all while staying true to his cultural identity. Drawing on anecdotes and proverbs, the author celebrates the enduring values passed down by his late father, a foundational influence in shaping his intellectual, cultural, and entrepreneurial persona.

The narrative also delves into pivotal events that have shaped both Lebanon and Nigeria, weaving a tale enriched by historical and cultural intersections. It features notable figures in literature and politics, such as Gibran Khalil Gibran, Amin Maalouf, Pushkin, Tolstoy, Chinua Achebe, Chimamanda Adichie, Wole Soyinka—the first African Nobel Laureate in Literature—and His Royal Highness Muhammadu Sanusi II.

Habib Jaafar is a Lebanese-Nigerian businessman, born in 1955. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the American University of Beirut and later a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Houston, USA, to support his family’s business.
